Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o joined various other celebrities from the US to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston in addition to Hurricane Irma in Florida, from the Hand in Hand Telethon campaign of which has raised more than Sh1.4 billion) ($14 million).
Hollywood stars gave their contributions in different ways, including manning the help line telephones while others sang from the benefits concert in addition to donated food stuffs in addition to money.
The money raised will be used to aid the victims coming from the two hurricanes.

Hurricane Harvey became the first major hurricane from the USA since Wilma in 2005. the item mostly affected people in Texas in addition to its environs.
Hurricane Irma can be currently still active causing its havoc from the state of Florida.
At least 70 people died during Hurricane Harvey, in addition to 22 deaths have been reported from the U.S. coming from Hurricane Irma.
