Shock as Ugandan police boss given Uhuru’s Twitter account

The Twitter account of Uganda’s brand new Inspector General of Police (IGP) John Martin Okoth Ochola was formerly owned by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, in which has emerged.

Mr Ochola was appointed the brand new IGP on March 4 after President Museveni fired Gen Kayihura who had served for 12 years within the police force.

President Kenyatta’s previous tweets, including congratulatory messages by some other heads of states, have been appearing on Mr  Ochola’s account.

Mr Museveni fired then security minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde in addition to also replaced him with Gen Elly Tumwine.
